To access the feature, head to Chrome Dev or Canary channel and open ‘chrome://flags’. Google’s Nearby Share feature can be used to send photos, videos, documents, URLs, Tweets and other content among multiple devices together. This feature is not available publicly yet and Windows users will have access to it on Chrome developer channel. Google will be bringing Nearby Share to Chromebooks as well. Nearby Share is similar to Apple’s AirDrop that is available across iPhone, iPad and Mac. After introducing Apple’s AirDrop rival Nearby Share in Android phones, Google is reportedly bringing it to Windows through Chrome.
